A page
is provided for each of the eight most recent surnames:
Each
page includes information available to date on earlier surnames in that
line, as well as links to individual pages of more recent descendants
within the last five generations.
(For a complete list of earlier surnames, please check the Appalachian
Trails site index.)
If you
are researching information for ancestors who fought in the War for
Independence, family members have traced Revolutionary War service through
the Burt, Powell and Sims lines (see Davis),
as well as the Thomas and Somes lines (see Thomas),
and the Grim, Summers and Reibel lines (see Grim).
There are almost certainly Jennings family connections to the Revolutionary
War, but I do not have this information. Reference citations will be
listed as available. Please check back periodically if this is of interest
to you.
If you
find a link to your own family tree, I would like to hear from you and
would be happy to link to your genealogy site. If you are looking for
additional information to establish a family connection, particularly
within the Thomas line, please email
me as I have much information not included here concerning marriages
and children of siblings in earlier generations.
